1. Who sells the product
Polar Software, Inc. acts as merchant of record and authorized reseller for the transaction. Electrician Field Guide supplies and licenses the guide. By completing checkout, you agree to these terms and the applicable Polar Checkout Buyer Terms.
2. Product and price
The product is one digital copy of The Apprentice Electrician’s Field Guide, delivered as a PDF. The current listed price is $39 USD as a one-time purchase and uses tax-inclusive pricing. Polar calculates any applicable tax from that product total and displays the complete transaction total before payment.
3. Delivery and access
After Polar confirms payment, the buyer receives access to a personal PDF download through Polar’s confirmation page, order email, and Customer Portal. Payment processing, security checks, or an incorrect email address can delay delivery. If the order is confirmed but the download is unavailable, contact hello@electricianfieldguide.com with the email address used at checkout and the Polar order reference.
4. Personal-use license
Purchase grants the buyer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use the guide for personal educational purposes. The buyer may keep reasonable personal backup copies and use the file on devices under the buyer’s control.
The buyer may not share access, resell, sublicense, redistribute, publicly post, upload to a shared library, remove ownership notices, or reproduce substantial parts of the guide for commercial use without prior written permission. All intellectual-property rights not expressly granted remain reserved.
5. Educational and safety limits
The guide provides general educational information for supervised apprentices and other entry-level readers. It does not grant a license, qualification, certification, employment status, or authorization to perform electrical work. It does not replace adopted codes, local amendments, employer procedures, approved plans, equipment instructions, required training, or qualified supervision. 6. Refunds
Refund requests and any applicable remedies are handled under the Refund Policy, Polar’s buyer terms, card-network rules, and mandatory consumer rights. Approved refunds are issued through Polar to the original payment method; they are not paid directly by the supplier.
7. No guaranteed outcomes
The supplier does not guarantee employment, wages, promotion, exam results, job performance, code compliance, inspection approval, or any other career, financial, or technical outcome. Results depend on the reader’s training, supervision, jurisdiction, workplace, and application of controlling requirements.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the guide is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. The supplier is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or reliance on the guide.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the supplier’s total liability relating to the guide will not exceed the amount paid for the product. These limits do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited, including non-waivable consumer rights.
9. Changes and severability
The terms in effect when an order is placed govern that purchase. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
